What sets Greg Cameron apart from other Coaches
I am a past player and participant in many sports including;
- Athletics (Junior and Masters),
- Australian Rules Football,
- Basketball,
- Tennis,
- Judo,
- Baseball (as a Junior),
- Rugby League (including representing the State on several occasions)
- Touch Football
I will use all this experience and knowledge, to assist me to design specific training programs for each individual, for example:
- Teaching footballers how to jump and land correctly using drills developed for high jumpers
- Using judo rolling and break fall techniques, to assist footballers to protect their head and neck
- Developing first 10 metres speed (for all sports),
- Develop fitness classes to suit the abilities of the group of individuals.
I am also willing to go to the Country regions to conduct Clinics for Teachers and Coaches.
COACHING PHILOSOPHY
- I have a holistic approach to coaching, assisting the athlete/person to realise their full potential in sport and life.
- I expect honesty, dedication, determination, respect and a willingness to learn from my athletes.
- My athletes cannot use the word can't unless they follow it up with yet.
- A personal best is as good as a medal. If a personal best is good enough to win a medal that is a bonus. I will only ever ask for personal best performances.
