Providing quality Coaching, Athlete Development and Fitness activities to all abilities and ages

What & Who is Speed Sport and Fitness

Thank you for taking the time to view this site.

Hi, my name is Greg Cameron and in 2021 I founded Speed Sport and Fitness.

The core business is to provide 1 to 1 Coaching of athletes/sports persons/individuals, no matter their ability, to improve their performance or lifestyle. Groups/Teams (Senior and Junior) can also be accommodated by negotiation.

With over 30 years of experience in Coaching Athletics, I am a passionate and committed Coach, who has worked with people of all ages, fitness levels and abilities.

I am an accredited Athletics Australia, Level 3, Performance Development Coach, Athletics Australia Community Athletics Coach and a qualified Fitness Instructor, who uses the experience gained from my broad range of sports participation (see Profile), to bring a unique skill set in understanding of the athlete's needs, enabling me to identify specific requirements for individual sports, which I then integrate into the training provided. There is a focus on Athletics events, but any sport that involves running, jumping and throwing can be catered for in his training.

I am the current Head Coach for Mt Barker Little Athletics. I have also coached at Whyalla Little Athletics and was President of the club before returning to Adelaide and was the Head Coach for the Australian Special Olympics Track and Field Team that competed at the 1999 World Games in North Carolina, USA. I am a Life Member of Whyalla Little Athletics, have represented the State on several occasions in Rugby League between 1982 and 1986, and was a Finalist in the 2022 TAFE SA Honour Awards.

I have coached SANFL and AFL level players along with Lacrosse, Soccer (Junior and Senior), Rugby and Surf Life Saving players and competitors, Little Athletics and Senior Athletics athletes, along with athletes competing in Special Olympics.
